This is not meant to teach you how to fix your hum.
This is the final continuation of my quest to be rid of the devilish hum that has infected my rig. Please watch my other video's on my guitar hum for background information.
I have been experimenting with a ton of different things trying to pinpoint the hum coming from my hot rodded strat. I believe I have finally found it. The hum only occurs when I am receiving power from the wall. I asked my dad about the electrical wiring and he said it was very old and probably problematic. Then I got a little clip of the pocket pod playing into my headphones with NO NOISE! I was very happy. Just to finalize it I will soon get a video playing through my amp somewhere else with proper powering. Thanks for all the help!
EDIT: 12-8-09
I figured out the problem. It was coming from the electricity in my house. Any time I play through something plugged into the wall it hums, but when I play the pocket pod on batteries it doesn't hum. Thanks for the help though.
