The Klon Centaur is now a legend. So Ceriatone decided to make a clone of the original they call a Centaura. Check out this incredibly close version of the original highly expensive and highly sought after pedal.

In this inside and out review you will see the quality of the Centaura, the components with a short discussion of them, the overall build quality and even the comparison to the real deal Klon Centaur. Ceriatone are to be commended for the near perfect result of their efforts in providing a cost effective alternative to the original overdrive pedal. Let the collectors buy the real deal and all the gigging musicians buy one of these, which if it was stolen then its far less a problem that an original.

I compare the audio between the two units and you can tell me which pedal is which, device A or device B is the Ceriatone? Put your answer in the text below and I'll reveal the answer later. The amp was a SC20 Stealth with a 1x12 cab, a Les Paul Custom and either pedal under review. Cables and microphone were the same for Device A and Device B.

This Ceriatone Centaura distortion pedal was bought by me personally - an ordinary user of this unit and I was not given anything - it's a totally genuine review of what I bought and I show exactly what you get with this effects pedal.
