This is the Colorbox from JHS Pedals. So what is this? Preamp? Fuzz? Overdrive? Mic Preamp? Dare I say, all true! There's no need to go nuts and bolts with Colorbox, put it simply this is a GREAT preamp for all instruments including vocals. You need to clear up the muddiness? Check. To beef up the sound? Check. To make it nasty? Check. It's all in one single stomp. JHS Colorbox is based on the old legendary recording console. Equipped with Lundahl transformer, the Colorbox is capable of making your sound jumps out a little more with such sweetness and attitude. Whoa.. I'm starting to sounds like JHS salesman here! But hey, this is just the way I write. It came up naturally LOL. So anyway, if you're lookin for simple interface preamp with great quality, go with JHS Colorbox. You won't regret it. The price is a little high but you get what you pay for. It's a palette of tone.
