This video is a tone test using a Weber Mass attenuator as a reactive load with a tube amp's speaker output - then running DI into a recording interface. I apply an Impulse Response to model a speaker cabinet in my DAW.
I'm running a parts Telemaster into a 5E3 clone into the Weber Mass. Then the DI goes to a Behringer UMC204HD interface. Reaper records and applies Pulse VST with an Ownhammer 2x12 IR. A touch of room reverb as well.
In the room the Mass produces a very feint audible tone at about whisper volumes, but for the most part this is a very usable setup to get great tones from a tube amp in a low volume environment.
