Today, I'm giving you a behind-the-scenes look at my latest creation—a delay and reverb pedal that started as a personal project. I built this pedal out of my own needs as a gigging musician, combining my favorite delays from the Metaverse with some top-notch reverbs, all packed into one box. It's fully versatile with stereo ins and outs, options to run it in series or parallel, and you can even split it into two independent pedals if you like.
I'll walk you through the delay and reverb algorithms I've chosen, including analog-style delays like a Memory Man, our own FauxTape Echo, Echo Space (a twist on the Space Echo), and a 2290-ish delay. On the reverb side, we've got shimmer, plate, spring, room, and hall settings. I'll show you how to tweak the parameters to get the sounds you're after.
With intuitive controls, eight onboard presets, full MIDI compatibility, and an expression pedal capability, this pedal is as flexible as it is powerful. I'll also demonstrate how our new Syntax MIDI controller integrates seamlessly for even more hands-free control.
I made this pedal because I wanted it in my own rig, but I'm betting you'll love its range and usability too.
