I promised a friend recently that in exchange for helping me move house I'd let him sit in on an amp repair of his 2005 Fender Pro Junior 3 combo. So in this video, we'll let Scott sit in the Captain's Chair most of the way while we attempt to diagnose and repair his guitar amplifier. The symptoms are the amp is completely dead. We track that down to a blown fuse, but why is it blowing fuses? Eventually, we track the problem to the bias voltage supply on the output, which was causing red plating output tubes intermittently. It was too late in the evening by the time we fixed it to do a demo, so just take my word for it...amp sounded and operated like it should.
