The Real: Literally, soloing while skating.
The Reason: I've always dreamed of learning how to play hockey and started taking skating/hockey lessons a year before we filmed this (mid 2015). I had been doing "Unnecessary Shredding" for a bit and my coach, Zach Dinga suggested we combine the two. So in honor of New York, I played the famous Alcia Keys and Frank Sinatra songs and I'm rocking my favorite team's jersey. Go Rangers! I got the Lundqvist one because he's a fellow guitarist.
The Rig: I recorded this with my Apple laptop into Pro Tools using a Shure wireless in-ear system, as well as Line 6 wireless with the guitar. The guitar is my one of a kind Fano Psonicphear.
