Jenna Fournier, singer/songwriter/guitarist of the dreamy, melodic, rock Cleveland (OHIO!) band Niights sits down in the EQD studio to double down on her demo of the Astral Destiny. Fournier applies one Astral Destiny to her ethereal, lovely voice and the other A.D. to her also lovely, blue Jazzmaster style guitar. Fournier, inspired enough by the Astral Destiny to write a tune for all to enjoy using a few of the Octal Octave Reverberation machines settings, including the sub/shimmer and abyss modes for her voice and hitting the stretch feature which takes your note, doubles the length of the reverb and adds an adjustable pitch bending effect to add some interesting textures to the guitar tone. Fournier also touts the quality of the eight presets that come with the A.D. and plays us a bit of an ephemeral tune that may have you gazing at your footwear just to make sure you aren’t floating away.
“The Astral Destiny is Super Fun and I wanted to do something that showed off what it can do, because it can do a lot,” Fournier said. Thanks, Jenna, we couldn’t have said it any better ourselves.
