There has been debate in the chat of my music theory live stream lessons about “music theory”. People often wonder what it is and why they need to learn it. Plus, are confused by different systems of music theory. My goal in this video is to explain is simple terms what music theory is and what it is not. As well as explain how music theory is a tool to effectively understand other’s music communication as well as communicate to others your musical thoughts.
