It's always a pleasure to be able to sit down with brands to get to know them and the products they make, especially when it's a brand we truly love. PJD Guitars first came into our collective lives in late 2021 - and weโve been loving their guitars ever since.
Based in York and built by a small team of passionate builders, PJD represents a new school of grass roots UK manufacturers. Built from nothing but pure love of the guitar, their axes draw influence from classic single cut and offset shapes but bring their own vibe to the table. These guys source some absolutely astonishing cuts of wood and their guitars sound every bit as good as they look. PJD are putting in the work in the boutique market and we're loving the DIY ethos behind the brand.
We had the privilege of sitting down with Leigh Dovey, founder of PJD in 2010, who ran us through everything you need to know about the guitars he first created just over a decade ago.
