Hey Fellas, so whilst deep studying some Coltrane stuff last night i came to a summary of his wide interval attack which led me to make this lesson.
In this upload i will take you through an easy approach to INSTANTLY make your blues playing sound more interesting, add more tension and help you break free a little from the pentatonic Shackles.
Just for the Record - The major 6th i keep referring to would be a minor 6th from the major scale - Brain fart - i think the chicken has got to me??
This hybrid pentatonic just sounds amazing imo , it can work over a straight minor chord so in most cases you can use it over any minor blues progression then fall comfortably back into your normal pentatonic runs!
It also has that desert vibe to it if you attack it in the right way , sounds super fresh!
I am going to run a POLL soon as i want to see what you guys want more of.
I will be running the usual product demos for companies but am looking to fine tune the in-between uploads to cater for what you guys want?
Be it Demos, Lessons, or straight playing!
Lemme know.
Richie.
