The warbler is my my build of Runoff Groove's Tri-Vibe. It uses a dual current-controlled operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) chip (e.g. LM13700) to create three effects: True vibrato (pitch modulation with 100% wet signal); 'Swirl' reminiscent of a mild phaser; and 'whirl' which mixes a fraction of the dry signal that is phasing, pitch & amplitude modulation, and dry signal all at once and is reminiscent of a dopler/rotating speaker effect. The Whirl setting is my favorite; it doesn't really sound like anything else and has some of the properties of a harmonic tremolo.
My camera ran out of juice near the end of the whirl setting demo, where I used some settings with the depth and speed further up, but I think this still gives a pretty good idea of what it sounds like.
