FET mic build diary -- Part 5: testing and demo

Now that the microphone's all built, we test that the polar patterns and other switches are working as expected, then give the mic a workout with guitar and vocals.


For the demo, the microphone is direct to my Fireface UCX, and there is a little reverb and compression (maybe 3-5 db max), but no other processing. The mic was about 1 foot from my face to capture the guitar well at the same time, and the gain on the interface was only about 10dB.
