I tried to be fairly honest, but I did allow myself a couple takes of each part, especially since I've never played some of these songs on certain instruments. I think my New Year's resolutions should be to work on backing vocals and to use a metronome when I practice my *songs* on guitar more often (not just when doing drills or when recording).
