The G5420T is Gretsch's latest addition to the affordable Electromatic collection, boasting a 5-ply maple hollow body, set maple neck and "Black Top" Filter'Trons. The new pickups are derived from rediscovered Baldwin-era Filter'Trons that possessed a degree of punch and twang unlike any other hum canceling pickup.
