In this clip Simon and I are demonstrating the Gibson Les Paul Collectors Choice #6, CS6. We're using a Fender Bassman 59 Reissue for the clean parts and a 1982 Marshall JCM800 4104 for the distorted parts. The amp is miked by 2 1960s BeyerDynamic M160 Ribbon mics, one at the grillcloth and one about 10 feet away. The sound interface is an Apogee Duet and the DAW is an Ipad with Cubasis.
