Unveiled by Fender in 1962, the short-scale (24") Jaguar was designed to be their top-of-the line guitar. Like the Jazzmaster, the new Fender Jaguar instantly finding favor with the surf bands of the day. In the ensuing decades the Jaguar found its way into the hands of the leading punk and alternative bands of the day.
The American Original '60 Jaguar truly captures the original sound and vibe of Fender's early Jaguars. Like the American Original '60s Jazzmaster, the American Original '60s Jaguar features a modern 9.5" fretboard radius, resulting in more comfortable playing. The 24" scale maple neck features a round laminate rosewood fretboard, 21 Vintage Tall frets and dot inlays.
Period-correct pickups and vintage tuners match with the original locking floating tremolo for an amazingly versatile instrument.
