The Original Parametric EQ! Designed and built by Burgess MacNeal (Sontec) and George Massenburg (GML); two outstanding engineers who wanted to create an equalizer that did not rely on inductors and switches. The result was the parametric equalizer, with the novel ability of bandwidth control, which first appeared in 1968.
