Returning to its roots, Gibson has revived the Gibson SG Standard '61 with Maestro Vibrola tailpiece, bringing smooth and subtle vibrato to classic tone.
The SG Standard '61 features BurstBucker 61R and 61T humbuckers, controller by audio taper potentiometers wired with orange drop capacitors. Nickel-plated hardware includes an ABR-1 tune-o-matic bridge and keystone tuners. The nitro-finished body features classic SG sculpting, a 22nd-fret neck joint and a comfortable gloss-finished SlimTaper neck. The 12" radius fingerboard has 22 Medium Jumbo frets with trapezoid inlays.
