Fusing Gibson's legendary SG design with a slew of contemporary updates, the SG Modern brings the SG squarely into the 21st Century. This SG is loaded with Alnico V BurstBucker Pro pickups, with coil taps so you can quickly switch between humbucker and P90-style sounds, easily accessed via push/pull knobs.
Featuring classic maple-on-mahogany construction, the SG Modern has a 24-fret, compound-radius with an ebony fingerboard. There's a quick and comfortable asymmetric-profile mahogany neck topped with locking Grover Rotomatic tuners and a self-lubricating GraphTech nut.
