The Epiphone Viola Bass, Vintage Sunburst features a distinctive body shape, that is reminiscent of 60s British Invasion. The Viola's body is crafted from maple with a laminated maple top, which overall delivers bright highs, and tight lows. The neck is also made from maple, which enhances the tone with plenty of snap and twang; and it is paired with a rosewood fingerboard that brings a softer sound. With a pair of NYT/NYR pickups on-board, the Viola Bass delivers clear and focused tones that accentuate the natural tones of the maple. Each pickup has its own Volume control, and there is also a Master Volume that are all sat on a pearloid controls plate.
The Viola Bass is complete with a Scroll Tailpiece, covered tuners and a Vintage Sunburst finish, to create a classic and retro appearance.
