The Tama SLP Satin Vintage Hickory 3pc 18" Shell Pack is constructed from 100% American hickory. Often used for drumstick construction, hickory is one of the strongest woods native to America. With this in mind, you can expect wear-resistant shells with the warmth of maple, but a clearer tone than what maple would provide.
