I mentioned in the DVL-1 vs Metro-Plex clip that I did reference the old JTM 45/100 while tweaking the '65 mode on the DVL-1. Here you can hear those tones A/B'ed.
The red light on the amp switcher indicates the 45/100, green is the DVL-1.
They are not identical, but the vibe is there. The KT66 loaded 45/100 is more scooped in the mids and softer in the attack. While the EL34 loaded DVL-1 has more mids and attack.
The 45/100 is a block end amp from 1966. Loaded with NOS Mullard 12AX7 preamp tubes and GEC KT66's.
A dose of Bricasti reverb puts these clean tones over the top.
