At home on a Sunday, thinking about Dickey passing this week. Not one guitar amp in my house. THAT needs to be fixed.
Anyway, despite being ampless, I wanted to put this down. My old Les Paul Standard straight into an LA2A. That's recorded direct and also feeding a Bricasti for room sound and a Lexicon 224 for long hall reverb.
One pass for the rhythm part, which I looped. Then one take for leads. Gaffs and all.
There are few moments that conjure decent DB vibe.
