I Just got a £400 Vintage TUBE Amp.. Will a REVERB Tank Make ALL the DIFFERENCE?
Hey Fellas so this is part 2 of the £400 Vintage Tube amp video, getting to know this amp over the past week or so and taking it out to a practice i can confirm it has THAT tone, but...... The REVERB... Its just been bugging me, not hitting me as hard as i wanted and carrying in its reverb tone a horrible metallic sound, like spoons in empty sink clattering around?
So after a lot of investigation and chatting to some people in the know, the first port of call was a New tank?

I get a little Kickback From these links, its a great way of supporting My Channel and it really helps me out.
Now Proudly Supported by www.curtmangan.co.uk Go Check them out!! Incredible tones and long life spans.
After some more research [ finding out the actual tank number was VERY difficult for this particular amp ] i went with a TAD amp as that seemed to my ears the biggest and deepest Lush reverb on the market, again a Cheap fix costing just over £20 delivered to the door.
In this video i take you through the amp showing you the tones before the change with its native Accutronics tank and then after once i've installed the New tank! With a little DEEP verb layout at the end!!
Guys if you've been struggling with your reverb id HIGHLY suggest searching yourself out a new tank, there cheap and SUPER simple to change out.
The last instalment of this video we will unveil the amp and push out some HEAVY TONES.
THANKS FOR BEING HERE,
RICHIE X.
