When Gibson remodeled their Les Paul range in 1961, they introduced the world to a shape that would go on to become legendary. With its thin body, double cutaway and pointed horns, it was still known as a Les Paul until 1963, when it was given the name we all know: the SG. This reissue captures all the classic tone and features of the early 60s model.
