Fender Custom Shop 1955 Relic P Bass

This Fender Custom Shop 1955 Relic Precision Bass is a faithful reproduction of the bass that started it all. Back in the 1950s, bass players were just starting their battle with amplified guitars, so Fender developed an electric bass to give them a fighting chance of being heard. This current version has a lightweight ash body and comes in a Dirty White Blonde lacquer Relic body finish that evokes the wear and aging of decades of frequent use (and occasional abuse).
