G12H-30 55Hz (T1281) Shootout - A '73 Greenback with a Pulsonic Cone Vs a '76 Blackback with a Kurt Mueller Cone.
Soundchain: 2008 Gibson Les Paul R9 into a 2007 Marshall 1959HW Super Lead which is attenuated with a Weber MASS 100 (attenuation level 1.5) The speaker are seqentially mounted into the same Marshall 1933 1x12 Speaker Cabinet. The microphone is a1960s BeyerDynamic M160 Ribbon. The Soundinface/Mic Preamp is an Apogee Duet and the DAW is an IPad with the app Cubasis. The guitars are totally dry (with the exeption of some (Cubasis)Flanger I couldnt resist adding at the chorus).
The drums are:
20" 1950s Ludwig WFL Kick Drum
14" 1970s Paiste 2002 Medium Hihat
14" 1973 Ludwig 5" Supraphonic Super Sensitive
The Drums are miked with 1 1960s BeyerDynamic M160 Ribbon Mic using the Tchad Blake method.
