BMF put 2 knobs on the Purple Nurple. One for volume and one for gain. I really like how the Purple Nurple really bonds with whatever amp you are using. Killer Fuzz box!

The Purple Nurple is capable of quite a few things. At low volumes it can be used as a mild fuzz pedal. With an amp on the verge on breaking up, it can be used as a clean boost or use the GAIN knob to dial in more grit. Have an amp that has a great low gain sound? Use the Purple Nurple to add even more gain. Think of the Purple Nurple as an enhancement to a tube amp that is on the verge of or breaking up on its own. Features include true bypass switching and a DC jack for use with a 9v negative tip power supply.
