Yo..

Here’s a quick look at honestly one of my favourite purchases for as long as I can remember, ( that’s a big claim man but right now I fully stand by it )

The UNIVERSAL OX BOX .

Straight away I can say as soon as I wired it up (which is SUPER SIMPLE by the way ) I played with the amp attenuated at its lowest point . Now I’ve been a hotplate user for almost as long as I’ve owned black face amps and I’ve got to be honest at first I was like “ hmmmmmmmmmm , it’s not as good as
The hotplate “ but after a while of playing my ears tuned into its attenuation real quick and I lost a good couple of hours playing to it . I now actually really enjoy it and will no longer need or use the hotplate . My only gripe with the attenuation is the jump from the lowest setting to the next is pretty damn different , but the attenuation feature is more of a bonus to me than what I wanted this unit for and that is it’s recording possibilities .

I Could rant hear for a long time and I do intend on uploading a lot more about this for those people who after a USER review but I’ll just get to the main pints I’ve found in one evening so far with it .

The headphone out is STUNNING - honestly Studio tones straight to your ears . CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ANOUT THIS FUNCTION .

The presets are great and I’ve only made it to preset 8 because I only thought you had 6 to choose from until I wired up the iPad hahaha ..🙄🙄

As soon as the iPad was set up and I started using the app I truly realised what a PRACTICAL AND FANTASTIC piece of equipment this really is .

I spent a little playing through the cabs and mics , and settled on this patch .

This recording is LITERALLY my first experience with this and my first recording .

Warts n all …

I’m one happy guitar player right now , a new way to record without killing the family off means more uploads !!

I can’t wait. !!
