Vintage King Audio, the worlds largest dealer of high-end new and vintage recording equipment, would like to thank everyone who attended the Music Composition for Film & Television event at the Downtown Independent in Los Angeles.
Co-hosted by SSL, the evening featured an in-depth look at the world of analog vs. digital recording as well as a panel discussion on the technology and techniques used in composing music for film and television. A special thanks to our panelists, Cody Westheimer, Paul Dinletir, Charles Scott IV, Jim Lang & Lennie Moore and moderator Fadi Hayek of SSL.
Events like this allow Vintage King to really connect with our client base on a local level, says Andrew Nehra, co-owner and founder of Vintage King Audio. From the SSL demos conducted by Fadi, to Lennie Moores tutorial on composing music for video games and the highlight reel of Paul Denliters work, the audience really got a first hand look into the arena of music for film and TV from some of our most talented clients and partners.
We would also like to congratulate Jimi Englund of Los Angeles for winning the Solid State Logic SSL Duende mini v3 compact digital sound processor. Once again, registering early really paid off!
Special thanks to the Downtown Independent, media sponsors ProSound News and Pro Audio Review as well as all of our panelists and attendees.
Werent able to make it? Stay tuned as Vintage King will host a webcast of the entire event next month.
