In Part 2 of this Lesson we'll take a look at the Melody movement. Just like the previous Lesson where we broke down the Bass movement and it's rhythmic construction … this Melody Line is relatively simple. But when combined … that's where the magic (or jack magic - ha!) happens. Take it slow … try and keep it all rhythmically in time. You'll see the hardest part tends to be keeping to rhythm of the bass line and the rhythm of the melody correct. But just work them up separately and get the feel for each … then slowly begin working them together.

And don't forget to have fun with it. This is a style of guitar playing that can truly take years and years to master. It's a different technique then most of us use on a daily basis. So enjoy the process and keep it fun!
