Hi Guys i'm real excited this week to share another Great Gear review with you. This time its the Mark Foleys PRE CBS winds. Ive had these in now a little over two weeks and have filmed various parts throughout that time to make sure i give a proper review of them. They feel responsive, articulate and honest and more importantly do not thin out under load [ as a lot of modern builders claiming old pickups seem to ]
The neck is Thick with beautiful overtones.
The neck and middle is SUPER stratty, straight up Stevie.
The middle is a funk machine [ great for rhythm work ].
The middle and bridge will get you all those Ronnie Earl kinda tones and the bridge will deliver CRISP Highs without becoming harsh in any way.
