This Martin 000-18 Golden Era 1937 Acoustic in Sunburst is built with the guitars of the late 1930's in mind. It is built with premium woods which helps guarantee a fantastic sounding instrument. The top is made from Adirondack Spruce as are the braces. It is braced with the standard X scheme then scalloped for increased bass, treble and volume. The back and sides are made from Solid Mahogany. This guitar is a little cannon and has a surprising amount of volume for a small bodied guitar. The neck shape is a Modified V profile with a 1930's style heel. The fretboard is made from Ebony as it the Bridge. This is a finger pickers dream. The wide nut width and string spacing make finger style a breeze and the classic tone of this guitar will have you playing for hours on end. Martin is currently making some of the finest guitars to ever carry their logo.
