On April 4th 2014 out of the blue, Alex Lifeson from Rush visited the Guitar Shop in Tokyo I used to work at. This was an amazing moment for me. Thank you everyone for enjoying & sharing this. So you know, the Les Paul sold the day this video was released and the PRS Acoustic sold on December 7th 2015. The new owner (as you can imagine) is VERY happy with his Guitar. This Guitar has now become somewhat rather legendary now thanks to this video. Again, thank you Alex.
Neither of the two guitars were raised a single Yen/Cent from their original prices. I've had a number of people slinging around claims that we would have done that, but that's because that's what THEY would have done. We did not.

UPDATE 2020/01/11: I'm very sad to learn as we all are that Neil Peart has passed away. My deepest condolences to Geddy Lee & his family, Alex Lifeson & his family, all of my fellow Rush fans around the world, Neil Peart's friends and especially to Neil's family. He will be sadly missed, however there is no way his influence and inspiration will disappear for a very long time to come if ever. Thank you Neil 🥁📚
September 12th 1952 / January 7th 2020. May "The Master" rest in peace.
This video was filmed with Alex's personal permission. I also cleared the usage of this footage before posting the video with the permission of SRO Management company.
On top of that this video is not an advertisement for any in-particular companies. I am simply sharing my luck and good fortune to have met one of my favorite musicians. I must admit, it helps that I used to work in that music store ;-)
And again, we did not jack up the price of either of the Guitars featured in this video by a single Yen.
