The Gibson Slash Core Collection brings Gibson’s collaboration with Slash to the next level. Inspired by his past signature models and current studio and stage instruments, the Slash Core line features his favorite Les Paul Standard '50s, and for the first time ever a Slash J-45 Acoustic/Electric.
The Slash Core LP Standard 50’s has new Slashbucker pickups created by Seymour Duncan. The C-shape neck profile is built to Slash’s exact specifications. Special touches include Slash’s “Skully” self-portrait on the back of the headstock, and a truss rod cover with his signature. Slash was involved in every detail of production from the pickups to the finishes — available in Anaconda, Vermillion, Appetite, and November bursts.
The Slash Core J-45 Acoustic/Electric has a thick Custom Slash round neck profile and a finely-tuned LR Baggs VTC pickup. It features a sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The Slash J-45 has the same signature touches as the Slash Core LP 50’s, and is available in two of the same colors — November and Vermillion bursts.
