A short demo of two fuzzes built during my fuzzy weekend 2013. :)
Orphan fuzz, a Germanium Orpheum and Mosrite hybrid with some extra tricks (input cap/padding switch, internal bias, germanium temperature protection diode, and some minor circuit tweaks). I've posted the perf layout on DIYSB and and there are a few notes in my build report on Madbean. I'll also put the layouts on my website.
And a Green Russian Big Muff clone ... on perfboard in a 1590A (just to prove it can be done). Dig the Green Russian overall (I used BC549B, so very slightly lower gain), and it's not nearly as noisy when the guitar isn't six inches from the amp like at the end of the demo (sorry about that!). :) The layout is posted on DIYSB.
