Hi fellas in this upload we put Two ICONIC Amps TOGETHER | 1964 Vibroverb + 5E3 Tweed Deluxe and it is a RIGHTEOUS TONE!
I've tried countless times over the years with dual amps and have always found that I could never get the blend right [ at least to my ears ] almost not being able to identify the amps in the mix? In this setup I am using an orange aby pedal and running the vibroverb Clean with reverb and the tweed on the edge of breakup and together it is like a marriage of BIG gritty open clarity with fantastic note separation . IT is an amazing feel in the room.
For recording I have put a Neuman TLm102 as a room mic approximately Four feet away from the amps and have put a SM57 around 6 inches away in-between both amps . I then ran into my computer via an apogee duet and panned one mic left and the other right with a little mastering other than that this is as close to "in the room "as I can get.
I hope you enjoy it,
Bests Richie.
In other news, I will be diving back into the lesson videos and product reviews - as autumn sets in and the nights draw in here in the uk I will be spending less time in the water and more time back behind the camera .
Looking real forward to getting back to sharing properly with you guys !
Thanks as always for stopping by ⚡️⚡️
