There's nothing quite like a guitar with a story, and this is a very special one. During their playing days with the Allman brothers, Dickey Betts gave Duane Allman a 1961/62 Gibson SG Standard, so that Duane could switch between the SG and one of his Les Pauls without needing to de-tune. The guitar became a legend, famous for its incredible tone. And now Gibson have faithfully recreated the original—right down to the classic 1960s style neck, a pair of Custom Buckers with aged nickel covers, wound and constructed to precise PAF specs and, on the special edition, hand-sprayed nitrocellulose lacquer in Vintage Red, hand aged to match the look of the original guitar. There are only 75 hand-signed, limited edition Dickey Betts SGs in the world, so this is your chance to own a piece of history.
