In this video, Lindy Fralin personally demonstrates his new Pure PAF Humbucking Pickups versus his High Output Humbuckers. The guitars featured are an early Tommy Rodriguez Les Paul style guitar and a Paul Reed Smith McCarty model which was given to Lindy by Paul himself. This video provides a great comparison between the two most popular Fralin humbuckers. Lindy says the pure PAF is about as close as you can get to a real Gibson PAF, while the High Output is a more versatile and modern sounding pickup with coil tapping capabilities. Both models have a great voice in these killer guitars. This demo was recorded using a V.V.T. Lindy Fralin model combo amp, rated at 38w and featuring 1-15" Eminence speaker. The mic used was a Sennheiser 609 which was draped in front of the amp, although the lavalier mic that Lindy is wearing is picking up some of the ambient sound from the room.
