Richmond, VA based jazz guitarist, Chris Whiteman, recently stopped by the shop to show off his beautiful Gibson ES-336 loaded with Fralin P-92's! We were amazed at the tones Chris was able to pull out of this guitar through Lindy's VVT amp. The clarity of the pickups combined with the warmth of the tube amp reminded us of jazz guitar greats like Grant Green and Kenny Burrell, both of whom played P-90 equipped Gibsons in the 1950's. The Fralin P-92 is a great solution if you are looking for the clarity of a Gibson P-90 but without the noise.
