In this little guy I was experimenting with setting the El Capistan to 100% wet... so none of my dry signal was actually coming through with the swells at the beginning. And since I was playing in Single submode A, once I popped it down to submode C (the looper), it already had a little piece of what I had been playing recorded. Kinda neat. The little pitch shift happens because of the split second that I was on submode B, which is really cool too.
Eventually the Memory Man gets turned on, and the Timeline, which was on a reverse delay setting. The blueSky reverb was turned on later too.
I'm playing a 1978 Telecaster Deluxe into a Matchless Clubman. Here's all the pedals that are on my board currently (the starred ones were used in this video):
Diamond Compressor *
Boss TU-3
EHX Micro POG
Walrus Audio Voyager
Walrus Audio Mayflower
Fulltone SupaTrem
Goodrich L-120 volume *
EHX Deluxe Memory Man w/ Tap Tempo *
Strymon El Capistan *
Strymon Timeline *
Strymon blueSky *
Eventide Space
And just so you know... the verdict is still out on the Eventide Space. I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep it or not. We'll see.
Anyways. I used an SM57 mic on the Matchless cab, and it ran into my Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 interface. I used Logic Pro software to record. This time I did do a little editing... there's some added reverb from the TAL Reverb II plugin (which is a great free reverb!) and I also boosted a little of the high end.
