Former Chief Maxon Engineer and long-time Godlyke collaborator Susumu Tamura has reinvented his now infamous and short-lived Maxon Apex808 in collaboration with guitarist/producer Roy Z (Halford, Bruce Dickenson). Combining the Apex808 with the clipping diodes of the Maxon OD808X (another Tamura creation) creates the perfect overdrive to achieve those sought after hard rock and metal tones—even into an Amp Sim!
