This is the sort of video I like to make for myself when I want to indulge a little. Get a bit arty. I pull out my best gear and hit the "record" button and see what happens. I always go for the first take. Tonight this happened.
Guitar: PRS Studio
Amp: HIWATT SA212
Effects: Empress Compressor to Empress Multidrive (just the Fuzz) to Empress Phaser (various Auto settings) to Empress Vintage Modded Super Delay (Tape setting).
The Empress pedals are incredible. My current favourite. I've only scraped a shaving off the tip of the iceberg where sonic possibilities are concerned with this stuff. Other demo folks have covered the Empress pedals individually and I will too, soon; but their greatest strength lies in their ability to inspire and draw music from musicians. And that's what they do for me, always.
