At GearFest UK, we caught up with Chris to discuss the latest updates for the Oberheim OB-X8 synthesizer. The new 2.0 firmware introduces a range of features, including a modified four-pole low-pass filter that compensates for bass impact. This update enhances the OB-X8's already versatile filter types, offering more creative possibilities with high-pass, band-pass, and notch filters. The firmware allows for greater gain management due to its digital control system while maintaining its analog essence.
