I made this from the MusicPCB board - it's a great deal, $20 for the board and the tap tempo control chip. Easily the most versatile tremolo you can build, and the sound is perfect - almost no tone coloration at all, not even the subtle high end rolloff you get with a lot of other optical trems.
This is one of those pedals that if I actually demoed everything it could do it would easily get over 10 minutes. If there's any interest, I'll try to film a more thorough review. I chose to focus here on the sine wave (which is very, very nice in this pedal) and one of the extreme settings.
