Not only is this Fender® Custom Shop Quilted Redwood Top Telecaster® NOS a great looking guitar but it is one of the best sounding Telecasters in the shop. The Redwood top with Okume body gives this guitar terrific clarity and mid range punch. The bridge pickup has a terrific grind with a lot of snap and sparkle. The neck is smooth and creamy with excellent clarity and sustain. Even through the heavy gain channel of a Mesa Boogie the guitar retained it's clarity and definition. The Modern C neck is very comfortable and easy to play. A bit on the smaller size so if you like big fat necks this is not for you. Frets are well dressed and intonation is spot on.
