We ventured to the Marin Guitar Factory in Nazareth, Pennsylvania to pick the model that this set of High Flame Koa would be built into. And after the last 2 Martin 12 String Dreadnaughts we received were 2 of the finest sounding and playing 12's we have EVER seen, we HAD to get another one!

Constructed from high flame Hawaiian Koa, this instrum,ent yields a stunning look. A beautiful shade of brown with mahogany like 'pocking' and figuring that changes depending on the angle you view it from. A Gloss finish on the body helps add another layer of depth to the look.

Tone-wise, Koa is one of our shop favorites. It's bright, focused, articulate, and has sweeter than sweet upper harmonics that, when combine with the jingle jangle of a 12 string, it just can't be beat!

A Genuine Mahogany Neck is 1 and 13/16" Nut Width is surprisingly easy to handle. The neck is finished with a satin feel that stays fast and dry no matter how hot your hands get. The fingerboard is made from Ebony as is the bridge.

We dressed this as an 18 series to keep the costs down on it. We built it from exceptional woods but then spared the labor expenses by keeping it free from all the extra abalone and mother of pearl. If your focus is on having the best guitar money can by this side of function over fashion, here it is!
