What's going on my friends?!? SeanPierceJohnson here and welcome to this week's episode of "Stompbox Saturday"! So what the hell is this beautiful pedal on the stompin' block this week? It's the WhoctaHell (or is it Whocta Hell?) from the busy bees at Beetronics.
This pedal sort of reminds me of the MXR Blue Box. It combines a crunchy fuzz tone with an octave generator. You can use the fuzz by itself or dial in a small amount of the low octave tone to provide some girth to your sound. But...you can do more!
Not only can you generate one octave below your original pitch you can take your tone to the depths of hell itself by switching to the TWO OCTAVES BELOW pitch shifter! Add a little bit, add a lot of it...this is a grungy, crunchy, grimey fuzz!
