Barber Direct Drive LG Low Gain Overdrive Pedal

*Originally Uploaded 2008* On to the Barber Direct Drive LG overdrive pedal. This is the low gain version of the Barber Direct Drive and was inspired by a custom shop order. The Direct Drive LG shares features with it's brother but has a lower gain structure to bring out dynamics and response. This really nails the tube rectified Marshall tone with accurate dynamic representation and more focus on tone instead of volume and crunch.
The Barber Direct Drive LG carries a more vintage quality than the standard Direct Drive. Less focus on gain has given this pedal incredibly smooth response and richness only found in old British amps. The Direct Drive LG is not lacking in gain however, this puppy can definitely crank out the crunch if need be, but it does it with a complexity rarely found in a stompbox.
